Are you up to the challenge?
“Black people are often given the double burden of experiencing racism and discrimination, and then being expected to fix it. Hopefully, by making the theme of this year’s Black History Month Time for Change: Action Not Words’ we can come together to make a change for the better.”– Black History Month 2022
Drawing on this year’s Black History Month theme we are inviting you to join us in the 21 Day Racial Equity Challenge, and challenge you to take one action to educate, reflect and further your understanding of power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity. Each day, during the challenge, we will be sharing a variety of resources to give an insight into the experiences and lives of ethnic communities.
We hope that by undertaking this Challenge, participants will gain a wider understanding and awareness of the challenges faced by ethnic communities and spark further interest in the steps required to improve racial equality in the UK.
The Challenge will begin on Monday 3 October and will run Monday-Friday until Monday 31 October.
