Jenny Cooper, Managing Director Jenny is the Managing Director of Home-Start Wandsworth, having worked previously as the Executive Director at ADHD Embrace. Jenny also worked as a volunteer supporting children with special education needs, and their families. Prior to this she had a successful career in corporate marketing. Cadella Patterson, Operations Manager Cadella brings over 15 years of experience in the charity and voluntary sector. As a Wandsworth borough native, she is deeply passionate about delivering meaningful programmes that support local families. Outside of her professional role, Cadella remains active in her community, fundraising for her sons’ grassroots football teams and volunteering as a school PTA member. Melissa Pike, Communications Manager Melissa has over fifteen years experience working in communication agencies and is passionate about supporting and empowering parents in the local community. Dayira Yasno Moreno (Dee),Senior Family Coordinator Dee is a Senior Family Coordinator supporting families directly through her own caseload while also overseeing service delivery and line managing the Family Coordinator team. A nurse by profession, Dee brings a strong background in family support and safeguarding to her role. Prior to joining Home-Start Wandsworth, she worked at Home-Start Lambeth as Family Services Manager, where she developed specialist experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse. Dee is passionate about working alongside families and helping them navigate the different challenges that life can bring. She particularly enjoys seeing families grow in confidence, overcome difficulties and feel supported along their journey. Outside of work, Dee loves spending quality time with her family. Carey Davies, Family Groups Coordinator Carey has been working with Home-Start Wandsworth since 2013 as our administrator. She is now our coordinator of Family Hubs, developing new programmes for our families providing classes ranging from yoga, baby massage, and budgeting to name a few. She also runs regular cookery sessions and family outings over the holidays. Carey’s background is in fashion; she ran a fashion designer’s busy office for 8 years and before that had her own fashion shop in Fulham for 8 years. Clare Wilson, Groups and Volunteer Coordinator Clare was a Home-Start Wandsworth Volunteer before joining the staff team as a Family Hubs Coordinator, where she works with Carey to develop and deliver a broad range of activities and programmes for our families. Her professional background is in project management and employee engagement where she worked with a wide range of organisations from supermarkets to the NHS. She has lived in Wandsworth for over 25 years and since having children has been a passionate and active volunteer involved in many school and community projects. Sarah Maher, Bump to Baby Coordinator Sarah’s background is in general nursing, midwifery and health visiting. She was a Home-Start home-visiting volunteer for over 4 years and is qualified to teach mental health first aid to new volunteers. Sarah became a trustee in 2016, bringing her health visiting and mental health expertise to the board. She has now taken on the role of coordinating the Bump to Baby programme. Sarah Davies, Coordinator Sarah was a primary school teacher locally and before that has worked in communications for a medical research charity. Sarah is a community campaigner and is a parent to two teenagers. In her spare time she enjoys making things and days out in London and the countryside. Ellie Awoye, Business Support Administrator Ellie grew up in South London within a mixed Ghanaian / Scottish family, and has been involved in charity in lots of different ways over the last 7 years.
