Voices from the pandemic

Throughout 2020, The National Lottery Community Fund distributed emergency funding where it was needed. In July of last year, we were delighted to have been awarded £69,000 by the National Lottery Community Fund.

This grant has enabled us to provide much needed practical and emotional support to vulnerable families affected by Covid-19. We were able to distribute more art & craft materials and parenting resources to encourage creativity and bonding. Where necessary, we were also able to connect families with specialist services and for a small number of families professional therapy.

We feel extremely privileged to be featured in the first instalment of the National Lottery Community Fund, Voices from the Pandemic series. Thank you Sarah, our Bump to Baby Coordinator, Carey, our Hub Coordinator and volunteer Lisa, for sharing their experiences.
