Could you spare 2-4 hours a week to support a local family and make a difference that lasts a lifetime? Home-Start Wandsworth is looking for people to join their network of volunteers. Volunteers provide practical and emotional support to families, with young children, who may be struggling with post-natal depression, isolation, financial hardship or disability.
As a Home-Start volunteer, you will be given all the training and support to be effective and make a real difference to families in your community. You will also develop transferable skills which can support you in your life, whether that’s at home or at work.
The next volunteer training course will start on Thursday 6 March 2025 and will run over 8 sessions, every Thursday until Thursday 15 May (excluding Easter holidays) from 9.30am till 2.30pm.
