This Trustees’ Week we want to celebrate and thank our wonderful Trustees for their dedication and commitment to supporting families in need. During these exceptionally difficult economic times, their work has never been so important. We are incredibly grateful to our Trustees for sharing their expertise and the gift of time with us.
To commemorate the week we are sharing the stories of three of our trustees about why they volunteer and what their role entails.
Maria, Chair of Trustees
After volunteering with Home-Start Wandsworth for seven years, Maria decided to become a trustee. Maria is driven to make Home-Start Wandsworth the best it can be.
Karen, HR Trustee
Karen became a Trustee in 2011 and is responsible for HR.
Linda, Fundraising Trustee
Linda joined Home-Start Wandsworth as a trustee in 2015. Her main focus is on fundraising activities as part of our Fundraising Committee. As a parent to three small children herself, she understands many of the challenges that parents face.
