Why we need you
Families today are facing unprecedented challenges, with 1 in 3 living in poverty. We are hoping to raise over £50,000 to ensure that we can provide practical and emotional support to more struggling families and give more children the chance of a brighter future.
The campaign will be open for donations between 2 – 16 June 2026.
How it works
Champions for Children is a match-funding campaign organised and run by The Childhood Trust, London’s child poverty charity.
What is a match-funding campaign?
A match-funding campaign provides the opportunity for supporters to increase their impact for the charities and causes that they care about. The Childhood Trust’s Champions for Children campaign utilises the Big Give online matched fundraising platform and their Pledge Model of match funding. Supporters of Home-Start Wandsworth are offered the opportunity to double their donations with match funding provided by pledges and The Childhood Trust.
