We believe every child has the right to the best possible start in life and through our volunteer befriending service we are able to provide impartial and non-judgmental practical and emotional support to families.
Today, families in Wandsworth face more pressures than ever. Wandsworth has one of the highest rates in the UK of mental illness and is seeing a rise in poverty with 1 in 3 children living in income-deprived households.

The directors of Rampton Baseley decided that it would be fun, fulfilling, and great team building to run a charity day. When we were deciding who to choose as a beneficiary, Home-Start Wandsworth was an obvious choice. Our estate agency business was founded in Wandsworth borough and a large proportion of our day to day activity revolves around the Wandsworth neighbourhoods. To use our team as a fundraising force was great fun and it was hugely satisfying to know that the money raised was going to be put to good use by the amazing volunteers at Home-Start. Throughout the exercise, we were humbled by the number of people who approached us to explain how they had had direct, invaluable support from Home-Start. This gave us all even more determination to raise funds and raise awareness. The team at Rampton Baseley got so much out of this enriching exercise, we will most certainly be partnering up again and we hope that this year was the beginning of a long-standing symbiotic collaboration.
