Because tomorrow starts today: Our Impact Report 2025-2026

Families need support more than ever

Many local families are facing significant pressures. One in three children in Wandsworth lives in poverty, and 66% of the families we support are negatively affected by their housing situation. Nearly half rely on food and clothing banks to meet basic needs, while some families go without heating or electricity or struggle to afford essentials such as nappies and formula.

Alongside financial hardship, many parents experience poor mental health, loneliness and isolation.

How we make a difference

Our trained volunteers work alongside families, offering a listening ear, practical help and encouragement, when they need it most. We help parents build confidence, strengthen relationships and create opportunities for their children to learn, play and thrive.

Our 2025–2026 Impact Report shows the difference this support makes:

  • 90% of parents felt better equipped to manage their mental health.
  • 77% of parents felt more confident in their parenting.
  • 91% of children had more opportunities to play outside the home.

Behind every statistic is a family finding confidence, connection and hope for the future.

My volunteer was brilliant and really
made me look at things from a more
positive perspective. She really
opened my mind and motivated me
to change things for the better.
